Dr. Jan Oliver “Janus” de Leon is the Director for Academics and Services and the Dean of Review at the renowned Carl Balita Review Center (CBRC) in the Philippines, which holds a prestigious position as the biggest review center in the ASEAN, Middle East, and Asia Pacific regions. CBRC has successfully trained over a hundred thousand professionals and boasts an extensive list of topnotchers. As the first ISO Certified Review Center in 2019, CBRC stands as a testament to Dr. de Leon’s commitment to excellence, as he actively contributes as a member of the Quality Circle and Auditors.
Known as the “Dean of Review” and the highest rated reviewer, Dr. de Leon’s expertise has led him to facilitate over a thousand speaking engagements both locally, covering all regions of the Philippines, and internationally, including destinations like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Thailand, among others. Furthermore, he dedicates his time and collaborates with various organizations for social enterprise and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
In 2020, Dr. de Leon was elected as the Chief Education Officer of HEALPH, a national alliance of health practitioners advocating for healthcare. He also holds positions as an Executive Graduate School faculty member at Panpacific University and serves as an Associate Professor and Clinical Instructor at multiple universities in the Philippines, including Bataan Peninsula State University and Philippine Women’s University.
Beyond his academic and professional achievements, Dr. de Leon has established a significant online presence. He gained recognition as a TikTok Content Creator for Health and Wellness, amassing nearly 15.4 million views, over 150,000 followers, and almost 1.4 million likes. Additionally, his Facebook Page serves as a platform for positivity, advocacy, and motivation, attracting more than 150,000 followers and achieving a reach of over 10 million.
Despite his young age, Dr. de Leon has already accomplished an impressive academic journey. He holds credentials as a registered nurse, registered midwife, licensed professional teacher, board topnotcher, cum laude graduate, and dual Master’s Degree holder in Nursing and Business Administration. Currently, he is pursuing his Executive Doctorate in Education Leadership and working on his dissertation for his second doctorate, a Ph.D. in Nursing. Notably, he is also pursuing a Master’s Degree in Digital Marketing and E-commerce. Dr. de Leon’s educational background includes studies at BPSU, PWU, UMak, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, and Unibersidad Isabel Uno in Barcelona, Spain.
Throughout his career, Dr. de Leon has been recognized and awarded for his exceptional contributions. He was a finalist for the 2012 Ten Young Employees of Metro Manila and an Ambassador for Peace by the World Confederation for World Peace, as well as an Ambassador for Indigenous People. His accolades include being CBRC’s Hall of Famer Faculty, Topnotcher of the Decade, Review Icon, Digital Marketing Expert, and an Inspiration to Thousands.
In 2020, he received the Asia CEO Awards’ Young Leader of the Year Circle of Excellence, the highest business award in the Asia Pacific region, often referred to as the Oscars of Philippine Business.
In 2021, he was honored as the 2021 Mansmith Young Market Masters Awardee for Service Excellence and received recognition from the Asia Pacific Luminare Awards, Gintong Parangal, and Dangal ng Lahi.
