Arlo Vincent M. Ranque

National Faculty

Arlo Vincent M. Ranque is a faculty member and the chairman of the General Education Department at Pangasinan State University, Urdaneta City Campus.

Among the courses he handles are Readings in Philippine History, and The Life and Works of Rizal. His research interests include the critical evaluation and promotion of local and oral history, challenges encountered by 21st-century teachers, and standardized examinations.

He spent his pre-service teaching training at Tunas Mekar Indonesia as part of the 5th Batch of the Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange Program in Southeast Asia organized by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO).

He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Education with a Major in Social Studies as Magna Cum Laude at PSU-Bayambang Campus. He began his teaching career as a high school teacher at PSU-Bayambang Campus, Laboratory High School. He is a regular member of the Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators (PAFTE), and the State Universities and Colleges Teacher Educators Association (SUCTEA).

He is affiliated with the Carl E. Balita Review Center as a part-time national lecturer. Currently, he is writing his thesis to complete his Master of Arts in Education with a Major in Social Studies at the Pangasinan State University, Urdaneta City Campus.
